What is English to Arabic typing?

English to Arabic typing lets you write Arabic script with an ordinary English keyboard. Instead of learning a special Arabic keyboard layout, you spell each word with Latin letters and the converter rewrites it in Arabic script. The result is standard Arabic Unicode, so it displays correctly on Facebook, WhatsApp, Gmail, MS Word and every modern phone.

This Arabic typing page converts on your own device, so letters appear with no delay even on a slow mobile connection. Extra spelling suggestions load underneath the box whenever you are online.

Arabic is written right to left, so the output box displays your text from right to left automatically. Copy and paste work exactly the same as with left-to-right scripts.

How to use English to Arabic typing online

  1. Click the first box and type a Arabic word in English letters, e.g. kaifa haluka.
  2. Watch the Arabic box fill in: كيف حالك.
  3. Press space to keep the highlighted word, or tap a different suggestion.
  4. When finished, press Copy, save the text, or send it straight to WhatsApp or Telegram.

You can also edit the Arabic box directly to fix a letter by hand. Want the meaning in English instead of the script? Use our English translation tools.
